About SkylarWriting has always been part of my life. During the pandemic, I wanted to use my words for good and started freelance copywriting for nonprofits.
I have a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a strong emphasis on writing from North Central University, and I have been a freelance copywriter for over 5 years.
My husband and I got married in 2020 and bought our first home together in 2021—what a miracle story!—in the Minneapolis suburbs. Shortly after, we adopted a rescue beagle-mix who is the most nervously curious dog you’ll ever meet.
Together, we enjoy being part of our church family in Hopkins and curling up in the basement to watch animated movies. On my own, I enjoy reading fantasy novels, taking nature photography, and listening to Taylor Swift on vinyl.
